Laurie Blakeman was elected to her fourth term as Member of the Legislative Assembly for Edmonton-Centre on March 3, 2008.

Ms Blakeman was born in Edmonton on May 23, 1958. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Alberta and a Certificate in Public Administration from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Extension.
