What is a newsfeed?

A newsfeed is a specially-formatted webpage that, when used with a special program called a newsreader, lets you know when a website has new or updated information.

Newsfeeds allow you to easily keep track of dozens or hundreds of websites.  If you’re a working journalist, using a newsreader can save you many hours of work each week.
