New Chief of Staff Joins Alberta Liberal Caucus Team
Edmonton – Alberta Liberal Leader Kevin Taft today announced the appointment of Judy Wilson as Chief of Staff of the Alberta Liberal Caucus.
"To attract such a knowledgeable and talented person is a credit to the reputation and to the continued success of the Alberta Liberal Caucus,” said Taft. “She will be a fantastic addition to our team.”
Up until two weeks ago Wilson was Director of Operations at Government House, a position she held for 13 years.
“Judy’s years of public service and her knowledge of government add significant bench strength for us,” said Taft. “Her know-how will strengthen our Caucus’ capacity to address the complex issues ahead of us as we move towards an election year.”
Judy Wilson is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Edmonton Gateway and holds a BSc and teaching certification from UBC. Her official start date is today, Monday, May 14. Over the next few days she will be working closely with former Chief of Staff Jackie Foord to ensure a smooth transition.
